I like the middle of this one. I like everything except the outermost layer. Feels lazy. I like the petals, though!

This is my current favorite. 😀 The balance feels good, plenty of open spaces for colors, and it makes me smile. Not too bad!
When I look at this one, it feels somehow like wrought iron? Not sure if that’s because of the swirls, or all the lines in the middle. It would be a cool art piece, right? 😛
This one feels a bit better, but somehow still not . . . complete? I like the middle, but it needs a little something more to finish up the outside.
I knew it wouldn’t last. This one feels incomplete. There’s actually lots of coloring space when I look at the details, but somehow the whole is lacking. Something to ponder. Hmmmm. . .
Okay, three weeks in a row with designs I’m happy with. Now I’m just showing off. 😀 Seriously, I do feel like some of the learning is starting to stick. Aaaannnd now I’ve just jinxed myself. This one feels good, though.
Two weeks in a row with designs I’m happy with – must be a new record! Again, I think I found a good balance with this mandala, even though I mixed lines and circles. Maybe I’m finally learning something?
After thinking I am not happy with a lot of my designs, I made this. I’m actually really happy with this one. It feels balanced – something I don’t usually get with my drawings. Now let’s see if I can do it again. 🙂
The lines of this mandala are not as heavy as I usually make them, and I like the lightness of it. I was aiming for simple, but I’m wondering if it’s too simple. Can’t make myself happy, I guess. 😛
